At CVT, our mission is to help survivors of torture rebuild their lives. We work to do this in several ways.
But there are some kinds of care that CVT is not able to provide. We hope that these resources will provide that support.
In the U.S., CVT’s healing centers are located in Minnesota and Georgia. We also have centers in Ethiopia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya and Uganda. In most locations, CVT extends mental health and rehabilitative care to individuals who survived state-sponsored torture outside the United States.
If you are seeking help but are not located near a CVT center, or if your problems are the result of other circumstances, please check the resources below for help. Please note that CVT does not conduct investigations of torture or provide legal support or case advocacy. If you need help in these areas, please check the referral listings below.
In the United States, if you are in immediate danger, please call 911.
