Gabriele Marini is the field representative for CVT’s Uganda program. Born in Rome, Italy, he holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from University La Sapienza of Rome and a four-year’s Post Graduate Degree Specialization in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Pontifical Salesian University of Rome. Registered as both a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist, Gabriele has 25 years of experience in the mental health area. He has worked in Italy and in other countries including Indonesia, Pakistan, Kenya, Malta and Brazil. From 2010 to 2023, Gabriele has led the clinical work in the CVT Uganda program, working with torture survivors.
