Dr. Dawood Azeemy
Project Lead of Arman Program , CVT Georgia

Dr. Dawood Azeemy is the project lead of the Arman program for CVT Georgia, which serves newly arrived Afghans in the United States. He is a public health professional with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Kabul Medical University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Georgia State University. He is also a Fulbright scholar. Before coming to the U.S. in August 2021, he worked as a physician in the French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children in Kabul where he led the COVID-19 treatment center during the pandemic. Additionally, he has over 12 years of experience volunteering with an ECD (Early Childhood Development) program in Kabul, Afghanistan. Dawood is a soccer fan, and he usually watches soccer matches during his free time. His favorite teams are Real Madrid in Spain and Arsenal in England.
